For over 60 years, Walter and Jo Ann Fisher lived out a shared passion: investing in Catholic Education across Michigan. This commitment was more than philanthropy — it was a calling, a belief that education is the most powerful investment in shaping lives and communities.

Nub’s Nob is a family-owned ski area in Northern Michigan, renowned for its snowmaking, grooming, and friendly staff. From chairlift “pews” where friends and strangers share stories, to morning ski runs followed by coffee with Fr. Mitch, their vision is one where community thrives on and off the slopes.
