On November 7, 2024, the St. Margaret of Castello Granting Fund Benefit brought together a community united by a shared mission: supporting inclusion in Catholic education. The evening helped raise approximately $100,000 to support Catholic school inclusion programs, helping ensure that students of all abilities have access to quality education in a welcoming and supportive environment.

The event started with a moving prayer led by the children in attendance, setting the tone for a night filled with hope and dedication to a cause that impacts so many young lives. Their heartfelt words were a beautiful reminder of the power of faith and the importance of inclusion. The keynote speaker for the event was Mark Bradford of Word on Fire Catholic Ministries. He spoke about the important work being done through the St. Margaret of Castello Granting Fund and shared examples of similar efforts across the country to support inclusion in Catholic schools.

Announcing the 2024 Grant Recipients

A key moment of the evening was the announcement of the 2024 grant recipients. We are proud to announce that Divine Child Catholic Schools and St. William Catholic School will each receive $50,000 to expand and strengthen their inclusion programs. These grants will directly fund initiatives that provide vital resources, staff training, and support services for students with diverse learning needs. The success of this event would not have been possible without the generosity of  our gracious hosts, our incredible sponsors whose contributions made this event a reality. We are deeply grateful to every guest who attended, donated, and showed their support for the St. Margaret of Castello Granting Fund. It is through the collective efforts of this incredible community that we are able to raise significant funds to support the future of Catholic education.

How You Can Help

The funds raised are just the beginning of a long-term effort to expand and enhance inclusion in all of our local Catholic schools in perpetuity. As we look forward to the impact these grants will have in the coming years, we remain committed to supporting schools that prioritize inclusive practices and programs for all students, regardless of their learning needs. The St. Margaret of Castello granting fund has a target goal of $5 million dollars, with a goal of reaching $2 million before the end of 2024.
