The Catholic Foundation is very pleased to introduce our newest members of our Board of Directors!
Rosanne (Bommarito) Brugnoni is the Senior Project Manager of Northwood, Inc. and President of Health Care Project Management Consultants, Inc. with expertise in medical equipment and home health care management. She joined the board in February 2020. Rosanne has been a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc since the early 80s and her children attended the parish's grade school.
Rosanne found the Foundation's social outreach meaningful because of her career in health care, and her mission to support vital social service needs of nutritional support, shelter/home, and medical needs to those in despair. "Angela’s invitation to join the Board provided the opportunity for collaboration with dedicated, talented servants that share similar beliefs in line with Catholic values. I joined without hesitation. I hope to see a tremendous growth in donors in the coming years," Rosanne shares.
Don Engle is President of Property & Casualty at Kapnick Insurance Group and has a strong business development background. He joined the Foundation's Board in October 2019. He and his family have been longtime SS. Cyril & Methodius parishioners and are currently transitioning to St. Daniel in Clarkston. He says, "The mission of the Foundation is not limited and will benefit ALL Catholic organizations in the Archdiocese. It was meaningful to me to get involved in the infancy of the Foundation and share my time, treasure and talents in an impactful way connected to my faith. I want to see the Foundation grow to $100 million during my tenure."
Frank Roney is retired from IBM where he worked as a senior executive for nearly 20 years. He joined the Foundation's board in February 2020. He is active on several nonprofit organization's boards and has been a parishioner at St. Paul on the Lake in Grosse Point Farms since birth.
"My wife Nancy and I believe that it is very important that we support organizations that invest in the growth of Catholics, which support Catholic missions and ministries, and which ensure a continuing role for Catholic Christianity in our society. The Catholic Foundation fits this mission precisely," shares Frank. "I would like to see significant growth in our endowments for Catholic Schools and ministries."
This group of generous lay people provide leadership to carry out the Foundation's mission to serve at the center of Catholic philanthropy in our area. "I am proud to welcome Don, Rosanne and Frank to the Catholic Foundation Board of Directors," shares Angela Moloney, President and CEO of the Foundation. "They are highly regarded in their respective fields and will provide tremendous benefits to the Foundation as a whole."
