Andrea Safranski

Director of Finance and Administration

The Catholic Foundation of Michigan is very happy to welcome staff member Andrea Safranski to her new role as Director of Finance and Administration. Andrea will manage the Foundation’s fiscal and administrative operations and will be responsible for accounting, financial management, budgeting, audit, tax, investment, human resources, and general operations. She joined the team on November 1st, 2022.

Andrea comes to the Foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Church Management from Villanova University as well as over 20 years of accounting and financial management experience.

Before joining the Catholic Foundation, she held positions as the Chief Financial Officer for both the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica and St. Paul on the Lake Parish. Her 14 years of commitment to making an impact in parish communities have made her transition to the Foundation a great fit.

“Andrea is a dynamic, faith-filled, and experienced business leader in the Catholic space. She has years of experience working with diverse groups of families, business leaders, parish committees, and finance groups. She is an excellent fit for the mission of the Catholic Foundation,” President and CEO Angela Moloney says.

Andrea grew up in Farmington Hills, attended Our Lady of Sorrows and Mercy High School, and continued her Catholic education through college. She and her family are active members of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Plymouth, where she currently serves as a member of the Parish Finance Council. Her children attend Spiritus Sanctus Academy in Plymouth.
