Giving through the Catholic Foundation is limitless. Whether you seek to give locally to make a difference in your neighborhood, or look to address broader issues, we have the expertise to assist donors like you to make a lasting impact on the issues that matter most to you.Socially Responsible Investing
According to guidelines set forth by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Catholics are called to invest their resources using three strategies:
– Do no harm.
– Actively participate in corporate governance.
– Use positive strategies.
It is virtually impossible for the average investor to keep track of whether his or her investments are aligned with USCCB guidelines. Yet we are called to be responsible stewards in how we manage our financial resources. The Catholic Foundation of Michigan does your due diligence and provides the expertise to navigate sound investment strategies while preserving Catholic values.
“When we give ourselves to planting and nurturing love here on earth, our efforts will reach beyond our own chronological existence.”
—Henri Nouwen, Catholic priest and writer
